Hello Friends and Family!

This is me (Annika) trying for the first time the whole blog thing, but I'm still in the states; So no "adventures" yet!

Wow, it seems like just yesterday I looked at the calandar and it said 70 days left; now it's only 38! Right now, our house does not look like we are moving! There is junk everywhere and pretty much zilch is packed up!

My mom's side of the family threw us a big going-away party last weekend and it was so cool! They hung paper lanterns everywhere and they served food on little black plates with chinese writing on them. Everyone (including us) dressed in kimonos--or silk pijammas! And my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ken built this amazing and huge dragon puppet out of cloth, wire, some styrofoam stuff, a helmet and lights!! If you weren't there, I wish you were!

It''s slowly dawning on me that im actually moving to Hong Kong!! It's kind of scaring me...but God is in control!
