We will returning to Chicago this summer.
We absolutely love the school at which we work and the girls attend, and Hong Kong is a really fun, safe, and livable city; but, alas, we have obligations that draw us back to life in the suburbs of Chicago.
Since making our decision, I have already been hit with bouts of sadness at the thought of leaving Hong Kong.
I was a bit surprised to hear the verdict, but can definitely understand wanting to come home. I've enjoyed reading about your experiences and adventures in Asia; you guys really seem to fit right in and make it work. Your friends and family will be so happy to have you back, and I bet you will make the most of your remaining months in Hong Kong. :), Lexie

ReplyDeleteSelfishly, yeah! Will be great to have the Van Noord's back in town. You have been missed here, you will be missed in Hong Kong next year I am certain.

No matter where you are you make a difference in the world. We have missed having you at MSS, lots of upcoming changes happening there, and I am sure they will miss having you in Hong Kong. What an adventure and with joy you will look back at this time in your lives. Looking forward to seeing you again.
